PWC | Neucel Marine Demolition
Project Overview:
In partnership with the Quatsino First Nation, Lemare Construction completed phase 1&2 of the Marine Demolition scope for the PWC Neucel Pulp Mill Remediation Project in Port Alice.
Key Elements:
Provided engineered demolition plans for the project
3,450m2 of marine demolition for superstructures
1,500 marine and intertidal piles removed
Marine mammal monitoring by sea
Water quality sampling by land and sea
Mitigated turbidity concerns through curtains, spill booms, and pile isolations.
